Strategic Plan of Work

The Delta County Economic Development Alliance (DCEDA) is a resource for business attraction, retention, and expansion.  We can provide timely and accurate information on nearly any business-related aspect of Delta County.  We have worked with companies with hundreds of employees to entrepreneurial start-ups.

We serve as a "one-stop" shop for business and site selectors and respond to inquiries within a timely fashion.

Detailed Information
The DCEDA maintains up-to-date Delta County statistics on demographics, utilities, tax structures, wages, community assets, and infrastructure.  We can work to assemble customized information in reponse to specific requests.

Financing/Incentive Offers
The DCEDA works with Federal, State, and local resources to coordinate formal incentive proposals to any prospective business. Offers may include workforce training, tax increment financing, low-interest loans, tax credits, and partnership opportunities.  In order to start a conversation regarding incentives, please contact us with detailed information regarding your project.

New Businesses
The DCEDA has compiled an informational packet of resources for start-up businesses.  Contact our office to request a packet.

Property Search
The DCEDA has connections with commercial real-estate brokers and maintains an inventory of available commercial properties for lease and for sale.  We will look for properties anonymously on your behalf.

The DCEDA has established a network of local relationships.  We collaborate and refer organizations to the right resource at the right time.  Whether it's the Small Business and Technology Development Center for business counseling, or Michigan Works! for workforce hiring, or our education institutions for workforce development, the DCEDA can connect you with the right resources.

Site Visits
If Delta County is selected on your list of finalist communities, we would be happy to coordinate a site visit for you and your client to view sites, talk with stakeholders, and tour the local community.  Get the most out of a site visit by contacting the DCEDA.

We are here to take care of business!
